The 车站学术充实中心, located on the second floor of the library, provides academic guidance 和 services to 十大菠菜靠谱平台的大学 students. Its goal is to give each student the opportunity to achieve success in academic coursework while experiencing the satisfaction of learning. This goal is met through a variety of student-centered 和 accessible assistance programs.
学术指导
The Staton Center staff works with students to discuss their learning needs 和 to match them with appropriate resources. Any 十大菠菜靠谱平台的大学 student can benefit from academic coaching, 是否打磨技能, 建立信心, 或者增进理解. Academic mentoring is available throughout the academic term. Peer mentoring is also offered by members of our Presidential Fellows Team, which provides enrichment programming 和 other forms of assistance.

The purpose of 集中调度 has three components:
- to assist with aligning student’s class schedules with academic plans of study in their major 和/or minor
- to increase awareness of academic policies 和 procedures
- to identify 和 mitigate obstacles to an expected graduation term
Students who have not yet declared a major can use 集中调度 to select a major that reflects their vocational 和 professional interests. In addition to meeting with Centralized Schedulers, students also meet with the Academic Advisor for their major to discuss class schedules, as well as pre-professional or pre-graduate study requirements like internships, 校外实习期, 或其他专业活动.
写作辅助工作坊
The 写作辅助工作坊 (WAW) provides any 十大菠菜靠谱平台的大学 student with support on any writing-centered coursework in any course at the college. Students interested in receiving this assistance can either make an appointment via email at fosterdickson@hawks.十大菠菜靠谱平台.edu 或者走进去. WAW提供以下帮助:
- Developing ideas for new essays 和 papers
- Conducting research to obtain viable sources
- 组织文章和论文的草稿
- Revising for grammar, punctuation, 和 sentence structure

The Staton Center was named in memory of the late Professor Emeritus of Psychology Thomas F. 以纪念他的妻子艾玛. Dr. Staton joined Huntingdon’s faculty in 1960 和 served for twenty years as head of the psychology department.
